By accessing or using the website at comptune.com.au or any services provided by Comptune Engineering Pty Ltd ("Comptune Engineering", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Comptune Engineering provides authorised Model Reports (MRE), vehicle import compliance engineering services, VIN verification, and related documentation for imported used vehicles in Australia. Our services are subject to applicable Australian regulations, including those administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.

Service availability, pricing, and scope may change at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or entity at our sole discretion.

Model Reports issued by Comptune Engineering are prepared based on information available at the time of issue and in accordance with current regulatory requirements. You acknowledge that:

• Reports are vehicle-model specific and may not account for individual vehicle modifications or condition.
• Regulatory requirements may change after a report is issued; it is your responsibility to confirm currency with the relevant authority.
• Reports are issued for use in Australia only and may not satisfy requirements in other jurisdictions.
• Comptune Engineering is not liable for decisions made by regulatory bodies based on submitted reports.

The VIN and Unique ID (CPT-prefixed) verification tool on our website is provided as a convenience service. Results are based on our internal database and are indicative only. Comptune Engineering does not warrant that the tool is error-free, complete, or current. You should not rely solely on this tool for compliance or purchasing decisions.

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Payment is required in full before service delivery unless a separate written agreement has been made. Refunds are available in the following circumstances:

• A report cannot be produced due to an error on our part — full refund.
• Cancellation requested before work has commenced — full refund.
• Cancellation requested after work has commenced — partial refund at our discretion.

No refund will be issued where a report has been delivered and the vehicle fails compliance for reasons unrelated to the report itself.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and reports, is the property of Comptune Engineering or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Model Reports issued to you are licensed for your personal use in connection with the specific vehicle compliance process only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comptune Engineering's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comptune Engineering, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

Our website and portal (app.comptune.com.au) may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, unless you are a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction under applicable law.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
